Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

This Cookie Policy informs you about what cookies are and which cookies and similar technologies we use on our website. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet or smartphone) when you visit a website. They contain certain information that is stored by your browser and may be sent back to the website when you visit it again.

Cookies can be distinguished by their storage duration and their purpose:

  • Session cookies are stored only for the duration of your visit to the website and are automatically deleted as soon as you close your browser or the session ends.
  • Persistent cookies remain stored for a defined period of time even after the browser has been closed.

In addition to cookies, there are similar technologies such as your browser's local storage (localStorage), in which information can be stored without being transmitted to the server.

Technically necessary cookies and storage operations are strictly required for the operation of the website and may be used without consent. All other cookies (e.g. functional, analytics, marketing or third-party cookies) may only be set after your explicit consent.

2. Which Cookies and Storage Technologies Do We Use?

a) Cookie Requiring Consent: Google reCAPTCHA (Third Party)

We use only one cookie on our website, which is associated with the Google reCAPTCHA service (version 3). We use this service to protect our contact form against spam and automated access (bots).

  • Name: _GRECAPTCHA
  • Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (third party)
  • Purpose: Distinguishing between human users and bots (protection against spam and abuse); the cookie contains an identifier used for risk analysis
  • Storage duration: 6 months
  • Legal basis: Your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021)

This cookie is only set after you have given your consent via our cookie banner. Without your consent, reCAPTCHA is not loaded and no data is transmitted to Google. Further information on the nature and scope of data processing by reCAPTCHA, including the possible transfer of data to the USA, can be found in our Privacy Policy (Section 7).

b) Storage of Your Cookie Settings (localStorage, No Consent Required)

In order to store your consent decision and avoid showing you the cookie banner on every page visit, we store your cookie settings in your browser's local storage (localStorage). No cookie is set in the process; the information remains on your device and is not transmitted to us or to third parties. It does not contain any personal profile data, only your consent decision and the time at which it was made.

  • Provider: Silvertip IT-Solutions GmbH (first party)
  • Purpose: Storing your consent decision (documentation and convenience function)
  • Storage duration: Until deleted by you (via your browser data) or until you change your settings
  • Legal basis: This storage operation is strictly necessary for technical reasons within the meaning of Section 165(3) TKG 2021 and therefore does not require consent. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in implementing and documenting your consent decision pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We do not use any other technically necessary cookies, nor any analytics, tracking or marketing cookies.

3. Giving and Withdrawing Consent

When you first visit our website, our cookie banner informs you about the cookie we use. There you can decide whether to consent to the reCAPTCHA cookie.

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, or give it at a later time, by reopening your cookie settings via the corresponding link on our website. The lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal remains unaffected. If you delete the website data in your browser (including local storage), your stored consent decision will also be removed and the cookie banner will be displayed again on your next visit.

Please note: Without consent to the reCAPTCHA cookie, the contact form may not be available for use. In that case, you can reach us at any time by email or by phone using the contact details provided in our Privacy Policy.

4. Managing and Deleting Cookies in Your Browser

Independently of our cookie banner, you can also control the storage of cookies and website data via your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block cookies in general or for specific websites, to delete cookies and website data (including localStorage) that have already been set, or to be notified before a cookie is set.

Information on how to manage cookies in the most common browsers can be found on the respective help pages:

  • Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari – in each case in the "Settings" menu under "Privacy" or "Cookies".

5. Further Information

Further information on the processing of your personal data and on your rights can be found in our Privacy Policy. If you have any questions about our use of cookies, you can reach us using the contact details provided there.
